One of my favourite places in Beijing: the Dong Yue temple. This is a busy Taoist temple in eastern central Beijing. It's very relaxing just being there, with incense burning all around. Around the temple are shrines to the various "offices" of heaven, according to Taoist beliefs. It makes for a fascinating view into the Chinese psyche.
