My British fascination with toilets overcame me, and I had to take a photo of this one in (or rather outside) a restaurant in Shidu. What the photo doesn't show is the huge ferocious and probably rabid dog that tries to savage you as you negotiate the icy path to this outside lav. For those that are interested, on the whole the toilets were excellent in China, and really nothing to be worried about. Mind you, I'm a bloke, so quite frankly the side of a bus works fine for me.
