| Note 1: I bought a great little APS camera out there (a Canon Elph) which took excellent pictures, and was hardy and not too cumbersome in the sub-zero temperatures. Unfortunately, however, I've just found out that my scanner's on the blink, so apologies for the poor quality of these images. It's not Canon's fault. If you want to look at the pictures properly, you'll have to drop by for a cup of tea. Note 2: These pictures represent about a third of those I actually took. Due to lack of time I've just slung them up any old how and captioned them, so apologies if they jump around chronologically, and the general design's crappy. Note 3: Even more apologies for my scant knowledge of Chinese history and culture, and no doubt impressive range of factual errors. I blame a combination of booze, jetlag, hangovers, confusion, and constipation....enjoy...K. |
